Kate Hudson Killer Abs for the 98th Academy Awards

There were many memorable moments at this year’s Academy Awards. Barbra Streisand took to the stage for her first performance in years, Misty Copeland surprised everyone with her unexpected attendance after leaving ballet, and even Baby Yoda was spotted in the audience.

In addition to the emotional acceptance speeches and achievements, the red carpet was an integral part of the event with celebrities flaunting their fashion statements both before and after the show. However, one actress was able to draw everyone’s attention.

Kate-Hudson

Kate Hudson was spotted at the Vanity Fair after-party wearing a crystal-embellished Gucci gown with a deep neckline and a cutout to show off her toned midsection.

Paired with diamond jewelry from Garatti, the black dress was both striking and simple. It was quickly one of the most discussed ensembles of the evening.

However, apart from her fashion statements, Hudson is already famous for her fitness routine and dedication to staying in shape.

At 46 years old, she frequently gives her fans a peek into her workout routine on social media. Her toned midsection at the Oscars sparked curiosity among everyone.

People were directed to Megan Roup’s social media post where she is a fitness trainer and influencer and founder of The Sculpt Society. She shared a video where she teaches everyone the exact routine she took Hudson through before the event. In the video, she explains what everyone can do at home with basic equipment.

She said the routine was one she often uses to help her connect with her deeper core muscles. While speed is not emphasized in this routine, correct form and breathing are. This makes all the difference in how the exercises feel and how they work.

The routine uses only a Pilates ball and two to three pounds in weights. This routine should be repeated two to three times. While performing the routine, she wants the individual to move slowly and to stay engaged.

She also wants the individual to breathe out while performing the routine and to pull their cores in like they would when they were tightening a corset. She also wants the individual to avoid the use of momentum.

The routine includes six different movements. These movements include double pulse scissors, toe taps, ball pass extensions, cross-body crunches with a knee pull, cross-body crunches with a slicing motion, and crunches with a ball roll.

While performing this routine does not promise to get the same physique as Hudson, it does promise to help the individual connect with their deeper muscles.

This is because Roup’s training technique uses controlled movements and light weights. This technique is designed to help the individual build strength in a balanced way.

For Hudson, the results speak for themselves. Thanks to her trainer, her technique is no longer a mystery.
