Intense Celebrity Workout Routines: Could You Keep Up?

When Mark Wahlberg first shared his every day workout routine, many wondered if everything was feasible. The famous actor, known for his tough roles, shared that his day begins before the sun rises.

Wahlberg, a part of the “4 a.m. club,” begins his day with a cold plunge before moving on to a full-body workout in the gym.

Wahlberg’s intense routine, however, brings to mind the question of whether other famous personalities have the same intense routines, and if there is anything to be learned from their routines.

Jennifer Garner

Jennifer Garner, playing a part in the movie “Deadpool & Wolverine,” was seen to be very strong and toned in the film. According to various reports, the 52-year-old actress went through a tough training regime before the shoot.

Jennifer-Garner

According to a report by HELLO! Garner’s training regime consisted of a series of boxing, high-intensity interval training, and Peloton cycling. Garner’s trainer, Beth Nicey, has shared that Garner’s consistency over the years has greatly contributed to her strength levels.

In addition to the usual training, the actress has shared that she has also incorporated foot therapy into her routine. In an interview with Marie Claire, Garner shared, “I try to focus on the things that will keep me moving, keep me loose, keep me from putting strain on my feet.”

The Feet Therapy

In the larger fitness environment, interest in physical therapy and rehabilitation assistance is also on the rise. Physical therapy nurses, for instance, work in collaboration with physical therapists and physicians to assist individuals in their recovery process.

Most physical therapy nurses complete a graduate program in health after completing a related bachelor’s program. With the availability of online courses for physical therapy nursing, more individuals can pursue this course of study.

For those who do not choose a career in a medical environment, a personal training program can offer similar benefits within a controlled environment. Assistance from a qualified trainer ensures proper exercise technique as well as alignment with individual goals.

Drake

Drake’s fitness regimen is just as popular as his latest album releases. The rapper reportedly works out using a structured circuit training program under the guidance of his trainer, Jonny Roxx.

One such program involves a combination of exercises such as three sets of push-ups, two sets of dips, and one set of pull-ups. This type of training involves multiple muscle groups at once, a technique commonly advocated by sports medicine experts for effective muscle building.

Drake also includes dance rehearsals as a component of his workout program. Dance is an effective cardio workout for performers, improving stamina, coordination, and agility, a combination of skills essential for long periods of performance on stage.

Chris Pratt

Chris Pratt’s transformation for his role in the Marvel film “Guardians of the Galaxy” is arguably one of the most publicized celebrity physical overhauls. Prior to his role in the film, Chris Pratt worked under the guidance of his trainer Duffy Gaver and nutritionist Phil Goglia.

It was reported that Pratt trained for about six months, using a mix of resistance training and activities such as running, swimming, boxing, and cycling. Nutritional preparation was also similarly planned, increasing the amount of calories to be used to build more muscles.

As part of his preparation for future roles, such as “Jurassic World,” Pratt has revealed that his training is still rigorous but less extreme. According to his latest interviews, his routine involves working out in the morning and practicing time-restricted eating.

A Broader Perspective

Fitness routines involving celebrities tend to be extreme and rigorous, and in most cases, this is due to the trainers and experts they have on the call. However, in the case of the average person, the key to fitness is not necessarily to be extreme but to be consistent and have a routine.

When starting out on a fitness program, it is always important to seek the opinion of fitness experts to ensure that the routine is not extreme and is suitable for the beginner.
