Chris Pratt, Jennifer Lopez, and Mark Wahlberg are individuals who are known for their physiques that always spark curiosity in the minds of their fans about what really goes into maintaining such a physique.
Fox News Digital talked to a fitness trainer who has worked with a number of A-listers such as Kim Kardashian and Rebel Wilson. The trainer spoke about the level of consistency involved in maintaining a physique such as the ones achieved by the actors.
“People will say to me, ‘I want to look like Mark Wahlberg,’” Peterson explained. “And my response is always: then do what Mark does. Follow his routine for six months and see where you end up – and whether that lifestyle is actually a trade-off you’re willing to make.”
Peterson went on to say:
“The people who are in that top one percent are doing things that the other 99 percent aren’t doing. And they’re doing it consistently.”
Here’s a closer look at some of Hollywood’s most fitness-obsessed celebrities and their approaches to staying in shape.
Jennifer Lopez recently gave fans a sneak peek into her workout routine in a video posted to Instagram in January. Lopez captioned the video, which showcased some of her workout routine, with #OnMyWay to a better me. Lopez’s video highlighted some of her strength and dedication to fitness, which have become hallmarks of her workout routine.
Lopez has talked before about some of her lifestyle choices and how they help her with her workout routine. For instance, Lopez said she doesn’t drink caffeine and alcohol and makes sure to get a lot of sleep.
“I love the way working out makes me feel, so I try to keep my body hydrated and well rested after every workout. That way, I’m ready to hit it hard again the next day,” Lopez said in a previous interview with InStyle magazine.
She said she makes sure to keep her body fueled with healthy foods and to keep healthy snacks like fruits and vegetables handy, especially when she’s busy.
Lopez works with personal trainer David Kirsch and says her workout routine includes a combination of cardiovascular exercises, plyometrics, core workouts, and strength training.
“She takes it very seriously. You say, ‘We’re going to do this,’ and she’s like, ‘Great!’ She’s very focused and high energy,” Kirsch said.

Heidi Klum has also discussed the role of healthy living in her lifestyle routine. The America’s Got Talent judge has recently revealed that she spent some time at a health clinic and learned more about digestion and other related issues.
The supermodel has stated that one of the things she has learned to do is not drink liquids before and after meals, at least for 30 minutes. She said:
“I really learned how to eat better again, and I learned so many amazing things that I never knew about.”
The mother of four added:
“I learned all about gut health for two weeks. We did all this good stuff. It was amazing. I feel incredible. I have so much more energy. It was very interesting for me because I always thought that I was doing the right thing, but turns out I kind of wasn’t. But I guess whatever works for everyone.”
Heidi Klum has also discussed her lifestyle routine in the past, focusing on the balance between keeping fit and her role as a mother of four kids. The supermodel has stated in an interview in 2016 that keeping a regular workout routine could not be easy while taking care of her four kids, and thus she has learned to keep fit by participating in other activities like hiking, biking, and trampolining with her kids.
The supermodel has stated:
“That’s the best way to stay fit and healthy. Do things that don’t feel like work.”
However, not every celebrity’s fitness path is entirely linear. Peterson also works with Rebel Wilson, who he said has had “a lot of ups and downs.”
He said Wilson is a person who stays focused and committed to her goals. He said, “She’s just got her head down and just keeps working.”
Wilson has lost over 80 pounds in her weight loss transformation. She said this was after she had hoped to become a mother someday. Rebel said she had been told by a doctor that improving her health would help her along her way to becoming a mother someday.
“It wasn’t a goal to get to a certain weight,” Wilson said to People. “It was just being the healthiest version of myself.”
Another person Peterson said had found balance was Mark Wahlberg. Wahlberg, who is 51, is known to wake up as early as 2 a.m. so he can get to the gym by 3 a.m. He is known to be part of the “3 a.m. club.”
“[Wahlberg] certainly doesn’t skip,” Peterson said. “There are times when you see him have a couple of glasses of wine. And to me, that’s the balance.”
Peterson went on to say that being consistent does not mean you cannot enjoy life. “I joke about having a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup or tequila,” Peterson said. “That’s where you’ve really mastered the balance of your life.”
It seems that Wahlberg has also been able to successfully balance his training with his other activities.
“He’s up early. He trains,” Peterson said. “He has his business pursuits. He’s a devoted father. He’s spiritual. He’s a husband. He’s present at home.”
“If he’s able to find his family time, work time, and then knock out an F45 workout, then he has struck a balance that you should strive to achieve.”
It is not just Wahlberg that is a celebrity that is getting their early morning training sessions in. Kim Kardashian is also a celebrity that is known to wake up before dawn to get some training in.

“Kim was – not only was she a 6 a.m. girl – but she was early to every workout,” Peterson told Fox News Digital. “It’s that old military thing, right? If you’re not five minutes early, you’re five minutes late. She was a 10-minutes-early girl all the time. And more important than the work being done was that she was consistent with it.”
Still, Kardashian’s physique is not entirely due to her workout routine. The socialite has also been quite open about her use of cosmetic procedures. The celebrity recently revealed that she tried out a laser therapy that incorporates microneedling and radiofrequency therapy injected into the skin.
The therapy is intended to stimulate a thermal reaction, which may assist in body contouring.
“Just got the Morpheus laser done to tighten my stomach,” Kardashian revealed in her Instagram story earlier this month. “I think this is my fave laser but it’s painful lol but worth it!”
Another celebrity who always seems to turn up on time is Chris Pratt. The actor, who starred in the popular series The Terminal List, recently posted a video of himself working out on Instagram and has in the past talked about how he managed to lose 60 pounds in six months in preparation for the role of Star-Lord in the Marvel movie Guardians of the Galaxy.
The actor has stated that he has been working with a nutritionist, Phil Goglia, and a personal trainer, Duffy Gaver, and has been training for three to four hours every day on a very strict plan that has seen him give up alcohol.
“Six months no beer,” Pratt wrote on Instagram alongside a selfie of himself after the workout. “#GOTG Kinda douchy to post this, but my brother made me.”
Actress Jennifer Aniston has also given her fans a glimpse of her workout routine on social media. The Friends actress posted a video of herself working out in February, with the video featuring Pilates-style exercises and some weights in her home gym.
The actress has also been a fan of yoga and has often stated that the exercise routine has been a regular part of her morning routine. She posted a video of herself participating in the routine on Instagram in December.
